The GeoHex project has been highlighted in a new publication from Celsius who are dedicated to advancing the district heating and cooling solutions and uptake in European cities.
An increasing number of cities across the world are adopting modern district energy solutions as the best way to deliver sustainable heating and cooling solutions to dense urban areas.
The European Commission has been funding projects in the district heating and cooling sector, advancing and innovating energy transition. These projects were collected and analysed by Celsius for inclusion in their brochure, ‘Overview of Support Activities and Projects of the European Commission on District Heating & Cooling.’
The brochure focuses on the Horizon 2020 Programme for Research and Innovation (2016-2020), including GeoHex as well as projects funded under the LIFE programme, and will also be updated with the Green Deal call DHC projects.
