David Martelo from GEOHEX project consortium partners TWI Ltd is due to present on the project at the European Geothermal Congress 2022 (EGC 2022).
The Congress, which is taking place in Berlin from 17-21 October 2022, provides a stage to discuss new developments related to the science, technology, industry, and policy of geothermal energy.
David’s presentation, ‘Anti-Corrosion and Anti-Scaling of Geothermal Heat Exchangers’ will take place on Thursday 20 October 2022. During the talk, he will explain how the project has been working to enhance corrosion, scaling and heat transfer performance by developing innovative new coatings for a range of different components. These coatings have the potential to reduce cost and increase performance of geothermal heat exchangers.
EGC 2022
The European Geothermal Congress is held every three years and is Europe’s largest congress dedicated to the geothermal sector, attracting people from Europe and outside. Including a range of events such as policy and scientific sessions, an exhibition, training courses, science bars, site visits, and networking events, EGC 2022 brings together the academic, industrial and societal aspects of the geothermal sector.
